7月30日广州流火夏日,天边鱼肚白,我6:00起床,洗澡化妆。我与司机一同去广州白云机场2号航站楼接人。我们已有4年没有重逢。今天德国脊柱学会前主席Rosenthal教授重回中国。他乘直飞航班从法兰克福出发,于今早8:10分落地广州。我们在机场的酒店共进早餐。公关部同事冰雪陪着教授飞往郑州。教授将在河南省直第三人民医院椎间盘中心工作一周。今年越来越多来的VIP病人来到德国找他看病。他的工作异常繁忙。在德国他专注于微创技术。去年他招收了两个博士生。一位是河南省直第三人民医院宋坤锋主任,另一位是汕头大学广州华新骨科医院李传将主任,今年他俩将去德国攻读临床医学MD博士。今天Rosenthal教授告诉我,他不会退休,他将看着他俩顺利毕业。河南省直第三人民医院椎间盘中心已经是国家重点专科了。在中国有近百家专科联盟。帮扶了中国上百家基层医院开展微创技术。他们专注的脊柱内镜手术绝对是中国微创脊柱的天花板。整个医院关健从院长到副院长和科主任都非常低调谦虚,真诚待人,他们从上到下重视医院管理、学科建设和人才培养。这才是中国医院的希望。
7月31日下午为河南省直第三人民医院科室品牌建设交流会。河南省直第三人民医院业务院长袁启东,院长助理、椎间盘中心主任周红刚,骨科主任沙宇、闫永昌等医院骨干均到场参加。椎间盘中心代表申明奎博士进行双语科室工作汇报,分享了目前科室的工作现况以及科室前景的展望。Rosenthal教授也表示,省直三院的椎间盘中心在手术技术、国际交流与对基层医院帮扶的成就有目共睹,发展前景大好!接着,教授进行《德国脊柱外科学科建设的经验总结》为题的演讲,分享了德国2006年德国脊柱学会(DWG)创立以后的脊柱外科医生的培养体系以及培养流程。在德国,从事脊柱外科的医生主要由神经外科医生与骨外科医生构成,他们共同进入脊柱外科培训体系,学习脊柱外科颈胸腰椎的所有手术入路以及器械知识。学会会针对他们的学习完成情况、完成病例数等对其进行颁发证书,证书分为三个等级,basic、master、excellence。Rosenthal教授表示,一个脊柱外科医生从完成三个等级的晋升通常需要10到15年的时间。最后,袁启东院长致结束词表示,他非常认同教授所阐述的人才就是学科发展的第一要义的理念,感谢他的分享对未来医院人才发展与建设有了新的启发。
On July 30th, Guangzhou's hot summer day. The sky suffused with gray dawn. I got up at 6:00, showered and put on make up. I went with my driver to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Terminal 2 to pick up Dr. Rosenthal. We haven't seen each other in four years. Today Dr. Daniel Rosenthal, former president of the German Spine Society, visited China again. He took a direct flight at Frankfurt and landed in Guangzhou at 8:10 this morning. We had breakfast together at a hotel nearby. Our colleague Zoe accompanied him to fly to Zhengzhou. Dr. Rosenthal will stay for one week at the Disc Center of The Third people’s Hospital of Henan Province. This year, more and more VIP patients are coming to him for medical treatment in Germany. He is also very busy this year. He pays high attention on minimally invasive techniques. Last year he accepted two doctoral students. One is Mr. Song Kunfeng from the Third People's Hospital of Henan Province, and the other is Mr. Li Chuanjiang from Shantou University Guangzhou Huaxin Orthopedic Hospital. This year they will both go to Germany for MD Degree study. Dr. Rosenthal told me today that he is not going to retire and he will see them through to their graduation.
The key national clinic specialty construction project landed in disc center of the Third People's Hospital of Henan Province. They founded a specalized alliance in China and now there have been nearly 100 members. It has helped hundreds of primary hospitals in China to develop minimally invasive techniques. Their expertise of endoscopic spine surgery definitely ranks the top in the field of minimally invasive spine surgery in China. The whole hospital off the president to the vice president and department chiefs are very modest, treating people with sincerity, and they emphasize hospital management, specialty construction and talent cultivation. This is the hope of Chinese hospitals. The Communication Meeting on the Construction of Department Brand of the Third People’s Hospital of Henan Province was held in the afternoon of July 31st. The executives of the Hospital including Yuan Qidong, the hospital President, Zhou Honggang, Associate President and the Director of the Disc Center, Sha Yu and Yan Yongchang, the Directors of the Orthopedics, attended the meeting. Dr. Shen Mingkui, the representative of the Disc Center gave a presentation, sharing the current situation and prospect of the department. Dr. Rosenthal regarded that, people have all witnessed the achievements of the Disc Center of the Hospital in surgical techniques, international exchanges and supporting local hospitals, and that it has a bright future. Following the report, Dr. Rosenthal addressed a lecture with the topic of The Construction of the Discipline of Spine Surgery - German Experience. He shared the cultivation system and process of spine surgeons of Germany of the German Spine Society (Deutsche Wirbelsäulengesellschaft, DWG) starting from 2006. In Germany, ‘spine specilaist’ is used to call neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons who dedicate to the specialty of spine surgery. They enter the cultivation system of spine surgery together, to learn the procedures of cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, the instrumentation and so on. Based on the extent of the accomplishment of their study, the number of cases, etc., DWG will issue them a certificate accordingly, which has three levels: Basic, Master, and Excellence. According to Dr. Rosenthal, it normally takes 10 to 15 years for a spine surgeon to grow from Level Basic to Excellence. At the end, Yuan Qidong, the hospital President, conveyed in the ending speech that, he greatly agreed with Dr. Rosenthal’s idea that talents are the most essential for specialty development., and showed his gratitude for the new inspirations from Dr. Rosenthal’s lecture on the development and talent cultivation of the hospital.
