A high-end talk- The world’s Great Doctors
In February 2021, Gloryren has launched a series of online high-end talks- The world’s Great Doctors, Which consists of 9 episodes. The guests are presidents of renowned German hospitals, academicians of Leopoldina, directors of major renowned international societies and academic leaders of their departments. They have shared their views of specialty development, insights of department management, experience of success as well as their own stories.
The first episode of Gloryren’s High-end Talk, The World’s Great Doctors is launching online now! Gloryren is very honored to have Prof. Dr. med. Heiko Graichen, Medical Director of the Asklepios Orthopedic Clinic Lindenlohe, as the first guest to our interview program. In the interview, Prof. Heiko Graichen shared with us a lot of things from his expectations to the hospital to his valuable insights on the field of Joint Surgery, for example, on the challenges or some inspiring findings.
For this episode, we invite Prof. Kümmel, Clinical Director and Chairman of Interdisciplinary Breast Unit as well as the Lead of Breast Cancer Research Program at Kliniken Essen-Mitte, to our interview to share his insights in the status quo of breast cancer.
For this episode, Gloryren has the honor to invite Prof. Boriani, World-class Master for Spinal Tumor who had developed WBB staging system, Director of Spinal Teaching Program and Head of Spine Tumor Surgery of the GSpine4 Spine Surgery Division IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi Milan. For this episode, Gloryren is very honored to invite Prof. Mayer, the Founding Medical Director of Schön Klinik München Harlaching, Founding President of German Spine Society and Former President of EUROSPINE, to do a special interview where we are privileged to get to know his fascinating life story, learning why would he, as the worldwide Minimally Invasive Spine Master, leave the most famous university hospital in Berlin and take up the new position in Munich, how did his hospital attract an investment of 90 million euros from the Schön Group in 1998, and how did he bring a bankrupt university orthopedics hospital in Munich back on track and turn it into a very successful one.

Wang, President of North American Spine Society and Co-Director of the University of Southern California Spine Center. For the eighth episode of Gloryren’s high-end talk, we are honored to have a conversation with Prof. Dr. Rembert Koczulla, Professor of Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Department of Pulmonology, Philipps-Universität Marburg and Chief of the Pulmonary Department of Schön Klinik Berchtesgadener Land. Prof. Koczulla is the only professor for Pulmonary Medicine in Germany, the founder of the Institute for Pulmonary Rehabilitation Research and also is part of a BMBF Project Covid/post Covid.
