第四届中欧医院管理学科建设人才培养全球论坛11月16日至17日在我父亲的家乡重庆盛大开幕。我父亲的家在重庆市渝中区枣子岚垭78号。1920年是四川大军阀夫人李白寒卖给祖父的。1949年新中国建立,父亲把重庆的这幢房子交给了国家代为管理。政府安排了9户家庭住在里面长达40多年。父亲是个军人。国家危亡。16岁的少年离家抗日,投奔至南京国民党中央通讯社工作的姨父。父亲有幸成为了傅作义部队的一员。8年战争,父亲曾被几十个日本兵抓捕,在古庙里藏身,在死人堆里存活,在香港执行任务,在广州谈了恋爱。1949年他的家人在天津找到了他。抗日战争让中国跌入了谷底,几经亡国。是抗日战争让一个四分五裂军阀割据的中国一次又一次让人民可以站在了一起,共同去抵抗侵略者。我们付出了3500万军民的生命。300万川军仅7000人可以活着回家,从此以后四川每年春节的春联上家家户户挂白绫。父亲就是这7000个可以回家的战士。1950年父亲马上全程参与了修建康藏公路。当年在莫斯科访问的毛主席亲自指挥部队进藏。康藏公路全长2255公里。穿越了14座大山,横跨了16座江河,穿行了8条大断裂带。当年是11万人赴死,3000人牺牲,这就是世界上最悲壮的公路。历时整整4年9个月,将雪域高原与祖国内地紧紧相连。父亲当时是部队的连长,他从头到尾参与修建了这条世界上最悲壮的公路。他们所有部队官兵每天都在万丈深渊之上艰难工作。所有部队官兵却以死报效祖国。当时的新中国刚刚建成,国家一穷二白,内困外焦。沒有任何大型现代化设备。工程之浩大,项目之艰险,史无前例。这绝对是新中国第一个举世瞩目的世界级工程。这也是世界公路史上前所未有的奇迹。父亲出生于中华民国13年,新中国成立后,他在中国水电八局工作了整整32年。2024年是他100岁的生辰。我出生3天,我就失去了我的亲生父母,我3个月零3天在火车上走投无路。父亲在年老重病之时收养了我。他给我办了户口,给我了一个家,为我取了一个很好的名字,让我接受了很好的教育,让我可以平平安安长大,这一生我却没有任何机会报答他。我还没有长大,他就去世了。我每天都在思念他。我亲爱的人,我对你们如此无情,只因民族已到了存亡之际,我辈只能奋不顾身,挽救于万一。只要星火不灭,民族就有希望。所以今晚我们大家才可以重新来到重庆欢聚一堂。前辈们呕心沥血,披荆斩棘,为民族争取到了最后一线生机。苟利社稷,死生以之。如果有一件事情对国家有利,无论是生是死都会去做的。你们只有真正读懂这句话的含义,你们就会明白先辈们的选择。这就是国家信仰。

The 4th Sino-Euro Global Forum on Hospital Management, Specialty Construction & Talent Cultivation will be held from November 16th to 17th in Chongqing, my father’s hometown.My father’s former residence was at No. 78 Zaozilanya, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, which was sold to my grandfather in 1920 by LI Baihan, the wife of a Sichuan warlord.In 1949, the year When the People’s Republic of China was founded, my father entrusted the government to manage this house on his behalf. After that, the government resettled 9 households there for over 40 years.My father was a soldier. When the country was in peril, he left home at the age of 16 to fight against the Japanese aggression and turned to his uncle, who worked for the Central News Agency of the Kuomintang in Nanjing.And my father was fortunate enough to become a member of FU Zuoyi’s troop.During the eight-year war, once my father was being chased and captured by dozens of Japanese soldiers. He hid in an abandoned temple,managed to survive among corpses, carried out missions in Hong Kong, and later had a romantic relationship in Guangzhou. It was not until 1949 that his family was finally reunited with him in Tianjin. The War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression pushed China to rock bottom, on the verge of collapse. It was the war that made a divided and warlord-ruled China a unified whole, bringing Chinese people together to resist the invaders.In this war, 35 million soldiers and civilian sacrificed their lives, and only 7, 000 of the 3 million soldiers from Sichuan came home, and my father was one of them. Since then, every family in Sichuan has taken the custom of hanging a white ribbon during the Spring Festival to mourn them.In 1950, right after the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, my father fully participated in the construction of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Chairman MAO, who was then visiting Moscow, personally commanded the troops to enter Tibet.The highway is 2, 255 km long, crossing 14 mountains, 16 rivers and lakes, and 8 large fault zones.To build this highway, 110,000 faced death unflinchingly and 3, 000 of them sacrificed their lives, which made it the most tragic and heroic highway in the world. It took a total of four years and nine months to tightly connect the snowy plateau with the mainland. My father was a company commander at that time, he fully participated in the construction of the most tragic and heroic highway in the world. All the soldiers worked hard above the abyss every day, but they were willing to serve their lives to the motherland.At that time, the New China had just been founded, the country was underdeveloped with limited resources and faced with internal troubles and external threats. We constructed the highway without any large-scale modern equipment. The project was arduous and unprecedented, undoubtedly marking the first world-renowned project of New China and also a miracle in the history of highways in the world. My father was born in the 13th year of the Republic of China. After the founding of the New China, he worked for Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 8 for 32 years. 2024 will be his 100th birthday.I lost my birth parents 3 days after I was born. Three months later, when I was driven desperate on a train, my father who adopted me when he was old and seriously ill.  He adopted me officially and gave me a sweet home. He also gave me a meaningful name and provided me with a good education, so that I could grow up well. However, before I had grown up, he passed away. I have no chance to repay his kindness and can only think of him every day. My dearest loved ones, though my death brings you great pain, I  would do anything to stop it because our people are facing mortal peril, even if it's giving up my little life. As long as there is still a single spark, there is still hope for the nation.It is precisely for this reason that we can gather joyfully in Chongqing tonight. Our predecessors expended their utmost effort and overcame all the difficulties to secure a chance of survival for our country. They were willing to sacrifice their lives to safeguard the national interest of China.Life or death, I will do whatever I can for the benefits of the country. Only when you truly understand the meaning of this sentence, will you understand the choices made by our predecessors.This is the faith of the nation.
