2023年5月22日，Boriani教授到郑州市骨科医院正式开始中欧国际学术活动周。一早上刚下车，院长王大忠就向Boriani教授献上一束花香满溢的鲜花，代表医院热烈欢迎远道而来的Boriani教授。中欧国际学术活动周暨“中欧脊柱肿瘤交流中心”成立大会正式开始，郑州市卫健委和医院领导班子分别上台致辞热烈欢迎Boriani教授的到来，Boriani教授在大会上介绍了里佐利骨科研究所的前世今生以及其行医生涯。随后，院领导为Boriani教授进行客座教授授牌仪式以及中欧脊柱肿瘤交流中心揭牌仪式。河南省多家媒体亲临现场播报情况，并在会后独家采访Boriani教授，他表示交流中心的成立能够更好地促进两家医院的临床和科研学术交流。里佐利骨科研究所有沉淀多年的脊柱肿瘤治疗理念与经验，而郑州市骨科医院地处中原，人口基数大，脊柱肿瘤病人远比意大利的多，有大量的临床经验且手术技术以及医疗设备先进，两者能够结合各自优势能更好地为病人提供高质量的脊柱肿瘤治疗服务。
On May 22th, 2023, Prof. Boriani arrived in Zhengzhou Orthopedics Hospital to start his work for Sino-Euro International Academic Week. Early in the morning, as soon as Prof. Boriani got off the car, on behalf of the hospital the President Wang Dazhong presented a bunch of fragrant flowers to Prof. Boriani and gave him a rapturous welcome who had traveled all the way from Italy. The opening for Sino-Euro International Academic Week and Sino-Euro Communication Center for Bone Tumor officially began. Leaders of Zhengzhou Municipal Health Commission and Zhengzhou Orthopedics Hospital gave their opening remarks to warmly welcome Prof. Boriani. During the conference, Prof. Boriani gave an introduction of the history of Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute and his professional life. Later on, the hospital leaders began the opening ceremony to issue the plaque for visiting professor and unveil the Sino-Euro Communication Center for Bone Tumor. The event was attended by several media in Henan Province and one of them gave an exclusive interview of Prof. Boriani after the ceremony. In the interview, Prof. Boriani said that the establishment of the Communication Center could facilitate the clinical and academic exchanges between the two sides. The Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute has the treatment concepts and experiences based on years of practice while Zhengzhou Orthopedics Hospital is located in the central China with a large population. The latter has much more spine tumor patients than the former. It also has massive clinical experience and acquires advanced surgical techniques and medical equipment. Therefore, the cooperation between the two sides can give play to their own advantages and better provide high-quality services for spine tumor patients.
